I had never heard of this slot before I saw someone else's big win screenshot of it on Casinomeister. It looked interesting, so I had a go - and got my biggest win of January! Big Fin Bay has great game-play - it looks like megaways, but it's actually not. There are 6 reels which have 2, 3, 4 , 5, 6 and 7 symbols - but they move around on each spin. The free-spins are triggered by getting 3 or more Anchors - each one drops to the sea bed, stopping on 2, 3 4, 5 or 6 free-spins. Spinlogic (previously called RTG) have been bringing out some really good games of late, and they gave us another great one this month! The start of another amazing winning run for me came towards the end of the month. January 2021:

Masses of my favourite slots are lost forever! 

Most people will have known for years that Adobe Flash Player was ending in December 2020.  But what you might not have known, is that for decades online games of all types were based on this technology.

It turns out that many software houses made a conscious decision to NOT upgrade most of their older games to the new HTML5 coding, which is what allows them to be played on modern mobile phones, laptops & PCs.

As a result we have lost literally 1,000's of older slots which were maybe not the most popular, even if many people loved them.   This has affected virtually all providers, including the likes of Microgaming, Net Entertainment, RTG, Playtech, et al. But probably biggest hit were Rival Gaming, which lost about 3/4 of their games!

Myself and other players have been enjoying most of these games for more than a decade – to suddenly have them taken away cuts like a knife.   I cannot lie – I am SERIOUSLY PISSED-OFF about this.

So I am really sorry if you see my reviews or screenshots of the games which are no longer available around my websites – there is nothing I can do about it. I really wish there was…

December 2020:

Following on from November - things got even worse!  The terrible Coronavirus pandemic put us into virtual lock-down AGAIN, with both my kids off school AGAIN, giving me the immense joy of home-schooling.   On top of that, my luck in the casinos disappeared completely! Most of my deposits evaporated in just a couple of hours, rather than the days or weeks I am used to.   During the whole of December I only managed THREE wins over x100 - on Vikings Go Berzerk, Genie Jackpots Megaways (of course!) and The Goonies.

On top of that, some of the casinos I listed here pulled out of the UK, or cut me out of their program with no good reason, other than because being a small-time advertiser I wasn't sending them enough players. Well screw them! I made this website to help my fellow players find great, safe places to play, not to make vast amounts of money for myself or the casinos.

In the new year I will be revamping the whole site and looking for some more top-class casinos to add. Stay tuned!

November 2020:

As this most horrible of years neared its end, my slotting luck turned pretty horrible too, and so I played some Rival and RTG for a change of scenery,  And it was on one of their games that I actually got my biggest win of the month!

Cubee is an extremely strange and childish game with can frustrate the pants off you - but it also can pay!  Nothing huge though - you'll never get mega wins, but I'm happy with anything over x100...

May 2020:

At last something different from RTG! 

RTG is one of the oldest online casino softwares in the world, having been started in 1998 in Atlanta USA.   There have been a lot of changes since then, but they have remained extremely popular with players, not least because they are still one of the very few brands which still accept players from virtually every country in the world!

Many of their early slots are still classics today, though most are the "standard" 5-reels x 3 rows layout.  Around 2016-17 they produced different types of slot, such as Panda Magic & Snowmania, but then 2018-19 they produced a load of games which were mostly garbage to be frank. The only two stand out games from this period were Kung Fu Rooster & Stardust - excellent games with big win potential.
But now in 2020 they seem to have taken a different direction again and started to release new sorts of games we haven't seen from them before, such as the "Expanding Grid" on Diamond Fiesta (5x3 can stretch up to 8x4) and the All Ways Pays, 720 ways, 3-4-5-4-3 layout Vegas Lux.  Hopefully there will be more variations in games to follow...

May 2020: My baby turned 40 years old!

No, not my daughter - my Yamaha XS750SE!
First registered in May 1980, I bought her in 1982 when she was just 2 years old.  Although we went on many trips in the 80's in the UK and Europe, including France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Monaco & Italy, I didn't ride her very much for the next 30 years - hence the low 34,000 miles on the clock.

This was the Japanese first attempt to try to copy the laid-back easy rider style of the great US Harleys. But all they did was take a standard XS750, add 2 inches to the forks and stick cow-horn handlebars on it!
Not the most comfortable of bikes; the seat is hard, the brakes less than amazing, the suspension... well shocking by modern day standards! But she still runs as sweet as a nut and is an absolute pleasure to ride!

Pretty much original except the 3 into 1 exhaust I fitted very early on, as the old one just rotted, the paint job I had done after denting the petrol tank, the home-made lowered seat and the rusty chrome I painted over in black.   Oh and I added the screen in the 80's, and the sissy-bar recently so the kids won't fall off the back. OK - so not much of it is original after all!

April 2020:

With the tragic global pandemic of Coronavirus all of our lives changed dramatically.   The biggest impact of Covid-19 for me, was that my 2 kids could no longer go to school, so I had to start looking after them pretty much 24/7.  This change in circumstances and re-assessment of life's priorities led me to lose almost all interest in playing at online casinos - down from virtually daily to just a couple of times per month.

Because of this I only had a couple of mediocre wins over x100 in April, so this month I am showing you my biggest £ win ever!
